Our Center

In 1998, the Specialty Surgery Center was built by a group of ophthalmologists to serve the needs of their patients. Their common mission was to deliver a high standard of care in the greater Syracuse area to patients regardless of age, color, creed, national origin, religion or the ability to pay.

We are committed to providing the highest level of personalized and specialized treatment to all patients utilizing the most current technology. This treatment is provided by our caring and knowledgable staff.  The Center is designed to perform same day surgeries which do not require an overnight hospital stay.

Anesthesia Services at Specialty Surgery Center are contracted with Syracuse Anesthesia and Pain Management, PLLC at 220 West Teall Avenue, Suite 200, Syracuse, New York 13210.

The Center is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Healthcare and is a Medicare and Medicaid approved facility.
