Our Center

In 1998, the Specialty Surgery Center was built by a group of ophthalmologists to serve the needs of their patients. Their common mission was to deliver a high standard of care in the greater Syracuse area to patients regardless of age, color, creed, national origin, religion or the ability to pay. The center was approved for multispecialty in 2003.

We are committed to providing the highest level of personalized and specialized treatment to all patients utilizing the most current technology. This treatment is provided by our caring and knowledgable staff.  The Center is designed to perform same day surgeries which do not require an overnight hospital stay.

Anesthesia Services at Specialty Surgery Center are contracted with Syracuse Anesthesia and Pain Management, PLLC at 961 Canal St., Syracuse, New York 13210.

• Ear, Nose, and Throat

• Eye Muscle (Strabismus) Surgery

• Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

• Glaucoma Surgery

• Yag Laser Surgery

The Center is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Healthcare and is a Medicare and Medicaid approved facility.
